Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian as well as Indian. In her early teens Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which resulted in the honor of a German television show. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. Following her graduation from high school at the age of 11 in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB Studio, but she quit to pursue improvisation classes in the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and Russian-speaking mom Olga. Her parents separated when she turned 13 years old old and she relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She appears alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans.
